My career path hasn’t followed a straight line. Early on, I spent more than ten years developing custom market research and using hard data to advise senior leaders at Fortune 500 companies on marketing and communications strategy. Then I moved into PR and marketing agencies, followed by marketing leadership roles at IBM and several startups.
Along the way I kept seeing the same pattern: periods of fast growth followed by stagnation and frustration. These are the inflection points that can make or break your next phase.
