Hempel Consulting Group Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 25, 2026

Hempel Consulting LLC, doing business as Hempel Consulting Group ("HCG," "we," "us" or "our"), operates hempelconsultinggroup.com (the "Site"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We keep this simple: we collect only what we need to respond to you and run the Site, and we do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you use the "Start a Conversation" form, we collect:

- Your first and last name

- Your email address

- Anything you choose to include in your message

If you email us, call us or schedule a conversation, we also collect the contact details and information you share with us in that exchange.

Information collected automatically

The Site is hosted by Squarespace. When you visit, Squarespace automatically collects some information on our behalf, including:

- Information about your browser, network and device

- The web page you visited before coming to the Site

- The pages you view on the Site and how you interact with them, such as clicks, scrolling and timestamps

- Your IP address

We use this information in aggregate to understand how visitors find and use the Site. Squarespace also uses this information to operate, protect and improve its platform. You can read how Squarespace handles this data in the Squarespace Privacy Policy.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

- Respond to your inquiry and continue the conversation you started

- Schedule and prepare for meetings you request

- Send you information you have asked for

- Send occasional updates and marketing emails, if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

- Understand Site traffic and improve the Site

- Keep the Site secure and comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to these without telling you first.

How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to provide their services to us. These include:

• Squarespace, which hosts the Site and processes form submissions

• Google Workspace, which we use for email, scheduling and business records

• HubSpot, which we use to manage contacts, email lists and campaigns

• Zoom, which we use for video meetings

• Notion, which we use for internal project and client management

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. The Site uses:

- Necessary cookies, which allow Squarespace to deliver the Site securely and make its core features work

- Analytics and performance cookies, which help us understand Site traffic and activity

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may affect how the Site works. For more detail, see the cookies Squarespace uses.

Third-party tracking and "Do Not Track"

We do not currently allow advertising networks or other third parties to track your activity across websites through the Site. If we add tools such as advertising pixels or third-party analytics in the future, we will update this policy first.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. We do not track visitors across third-party websites.

Links to other sites

The Site links to other websites, such as our LinkedIn page. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. We encourage you to review their policies.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and contact information for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business relationship, and as required for legal, tax or accounting purposes. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect, including secure, access-controlled business systems. No method of transmitting or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can contact us at any time to:

- Ask what personal information we hold about you

- Correct or update your information

- Ask us to delete your information

- Stop receiving communications from us

We will respond within a reasonable time, generally within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our business and the Site change. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the effective date at the top. If we make a significant change in how we use personal information, we will also provide notice on the Site or contact you directly where appropriate.
